Desktop Lara (Anniversary Edition) is a program that will put an animated Lara Croft into your desktop.
Lara Croft is the central character of the Tomb Raider saga, that began with a computer game, followed by movies starred by Angelina Jolie.
As the author says, this program is just a demo that includes only an animation, because the complete program has a size of 80 Mb., too big for free servers in 2006, the time when this program was developed.
It is possible to configure the animation to appear on top of any window. You can also allow the users to move the animation using the mouse. There are options to hide the mouse, that do not work in the demo version. You can choose to show the program´s icon in the system tray, if you want. You can assign to the animation a given CPU usage, in order to avoid it slowing down your system.
Clicking on the download link you will be able to save the program that, when run, will download from the author´s website the necessary files to run the program. You will need 14.3 Mb. to save them. |
